North Haven

North Haven

This is a really, really great book. The premise is four siblings are returning to the family vacation home in Maine to decide what to do with it. Their mother has recently died and all of them are suffering from the reality of her death. Each character is battling demons and harboring secrets, deep secrets, from each other.
There is such moving language describing the sea that surrounds the m=home and how its movement, depth, and color translates to the story.
It’s definitely not a one day easy read as there is so much depth to the characters and to their relationships with each other and to the memories of the house.
